On Monday Anna and I hopped on an Air Transat flight at Pearson Toronto and we arrived to Gatwick London Tuesday morning, safe and sound, just a bit delayed.We journeyed home on the Southern Train, then transferred to the South Western Train at Clapham Junction. I was greeted by the most pleasant surprise as we arrived home. A sparkling flat, chocolates, flowers, food prepared in the fridge and a sweet note from Laci.

Thankfully, Anna was able to relax and enjoy the afternoon, but I headed to into work for a few hours. It was the longest afternoon of my life, and couldn’t wait to leave the office! Once at home, I felt a bit refreshed as we had dinner with Laci and watched him open his presents. Not to waste any time, we decided to go for a short walk as dusk approached. Anna LOVED meeting the swans by the river, and even decided to try a cider with a bag of crisps at the nearby pub.

It was an early night for all, as to prepare for the upcoming adventures in London Town!
