The surrounding area was still frozen ice as Saturday morning rolled around. Early morning, the whole family had different priorities and lots planned for the day. The Little family invited me over for breakfast…eggs, bacon and fresh fruit was the perfect way to start the day. Unfortunately, Anna had to work today, so I drove her to David’s Bridal.

It is also  Eastern European tradition that we prepare an Easter basket for blessing, to be then enjoyed by the family. The basket usually contains home made egg bread, freshly cooked ham, red dyed eggs and a bottle of wine. My mom prepared it beautifully, and we were so excited to have it for dinner!

I also had a chance to squeeze in a short walk with Karlie along the board walk. Enjoying a fresh brew from Bud’s Coffee Bar, it was the perfect way for us coffee lovers to catch up.
