March 18th was a long day, which started at 2 am in London time. Other than spilling coffee all over the carpet in my big morning rush, the journey to the airport…and to home sweet home was very smooth. I even arrived early, and waited for my mom at the airport prior to heading into the city. We have a planned a girl’s day in Toronto. My mom, Anna and I.
We had all sorts of delights to enjoy, True True for pizza in a pink atmosphere, Bobbette & Belle for cupcakes and coffee and the Eaton Centre for some retail therapy. Fortunately enough, Anna was able to acquire tickets for Toronto Fashion Week, so we enjoyed a brisk walk among skyscrapers as we walked to the Piccadilly Fashion show at David Pecaut Square. The venue was buzzing with excitement as the city’s fashionistas arrived for an evenings of glamour. The show was full of energy and beautiful designs.
A cross Atlantic journey home can only be improved by spending a wonderful afternoon with the girls of the family!
The food looks delicious!
