One of my final treats was a family lunch at Eta néni’s house. Unfortunately, Dan was participating in his orientation day at his new job, so he had to miss the delightful meal. We arrived around 1 pm, and were greeted by the family in the living room. Ken and Rita shared stories of their recent trip to Turkey, while enjoying a glass of sweet wine and the best goat cheese like ever!
Eta néni’s Hungarian chicken noodle soup with homemade noodles was delicious as always, followed by lamb and potatoes, and cleansed with coffee and chestnut chocolate cake. It was ever so perfect not only in the food served, but spending time with family and old friends. Until next time…
