Kelly’s Bake Shoppe in Burlington has to be the best vegan and gluten free spot in the city, especially if you are looking to add some sweetness to your life. I met Gaby and Linda here for our goodbye date…when it was all calm and quiet before the storm. My latte with coconut milk was just the right nutty, and although we agreed on splitting one dessert, we each contributed one dessert into the pile to be split among us. My favourite treat has to be the chocolate doughnut with a coconut topping.

Short and sweet (very sweet), loved spending this time together as we discussed summer plans and life in general. Friends (and bakeries) like these only come around in home sweet home.
