Saturday started out as a lonely rainy day, but never a boring day. Laszlo spent the day sleeping as he was night on-call all weekend, so I got groceries and home decor in the morning. The life of a grown up!
Early afternoon the weather cleared up, and I decided to go for a walk in on Chiswick high street. An area known for cute little shops, cafes and restaurants. After purchasing a new stack of postcards, I sat down in Artisan Coffee House, a spot I’ve been eyeing for a few weeks now. In the company of a delicious chai tea latte and chocolate swirl shortbread, I wrote postcards and enjoyed the atmosphere of the little shop.
Sometimes, these peaceful days are needed.
