A warm day was forecasted with lots of sunshine. And it was true! All I needed was a light jacket, and even that didn’t have to stay on all day.
Our morning started at the Cabbages and Frock market in the St Marleybone Parish Church grounds. It was a cute market offering a lot of clothing and accessories…but the smallest one of any we have been to. However, we did try a tiny macaron and it was delicious!
Walking along Marylebone High Street, we discovered the famous Conran Shop offering unique furniture, home accessories and gifts. Really anything if you can afford it! Their selection features carefully curated products from designers around the world. Even though I don’t use bar soap often, I was most amazed by their creatively packaged collection. We definitely can’t wait to invest in their products once we have our first big London home!
Around 2.30 we entered the gates to Regent’s Park and realized that yet there is another beautiful green space in the city! Magical bridges overlooking happy ducks and geese, friendly squirrels and beautiful rose gardens. As it was near sunset, we couldn’t go for a boat ride, but hope to return in the future to explore the winding waters of the garden.
On our way to dinner at Hudson’s house, we managed to do some shopping on Oxford street. Workout gear so that we can start working out and leading a healthy lifestyle! A wonderful dinner at the stylish pub was just what we need on after a long day. A successful Saturday to add to our memories.
