Somerset House

Back to work it was this Monday, and a tired morning after our weekend adventures. But nonetheless, we had the evening to look forward to.

We met at Somerset House around 5.30 pm, meaning we had a half an hour to explore the building and its galleries. It is a major cultural arts centre in the city, offering ever changing programs. The AOI World Illustration Awards Exhibition in the terrace room was an intriguing display of visual pieces from the world of illustrators.

Walking along one of the bridges over the Thames is beautiful during the sunset.

As for dinner, Yo! Sushi was the nearest and dearest. They were offering Blue Monday specials, meaning a lot of their offerings were discounted. Ever since we first tried this little moving sushi bar in Windsor, I have been obsessed with sushi.
